The TubFlex 4K MODX™ Bath Module is a complete three-wall alcove tub surround system designed for efficient installation and easier logistics. As a 4-piece model, it includes two side wall panels and a split back wall made from upper and lower sections.
Once installed, the two back wall panels combine to form a complete back wall. This configuration reduces carton size, improves handling, and supports parcel-friendly shipping, making it suitable for remodel programs, multifamily projects, dealer distribution, and builder installations.
With a tile-look high-gloss SMC finish and interlocking panel structure, TubFlex 4K provides a clean bathroom appearance with lower maintenance than traditional tile.

What is the difference between 3-piece and 4-piece MODX systems?
Both 3-piece and 4-piece MODX systems are complete three-wall alcove surround systems. The difference is the back wall panel configuration.
A 3-piece model includes two side wall panels and one full-size back wall panel. This creates fewer back-wall joints, but the package is larger and is typically better suited for freight or project-based delivery.
A 4-piece model includes two side wall panels and a split back wall made from upper and lower sections. During installation, the two back wall sections are assembled together to form one complete back wall. Because the back wall is split into two smaller panels, the overall package size is reduced, making the system easier to handle and suitable for parcel-friendly shipping.
How long does MODX take to install?
MODX is designed for fast installation. It would take about 2-3 hours, compared with 1–3 days for tile installation.
